Audition Information

Auditions for Principal and 2nd Trombone

Sunday May 11, 2008

The Kenosha Symphony is looking for experienced and highly qualified candidates to audition for principal and 2nd trombone. Please email or fax (262-654-8809) your resume for consideration. Resumes must be received by May 5, 2008 for consideration.

Required repertoire:

· Mozart Requiem -- 2nd solo: Tuba mirum
· Ravel Bolero solo
· Strauss Till Eulenspiegel -- from 9 bars after reh 35 -- 16 bars after reh 37
· Berlioz Hungarian March -- bar before reh 4 -- 4 bars after reh 5
· Wagner Ride of the Valkyries -- pick-up to reh 6 -- 7 bars after reh 7
· Rossini La Gazza Ladra
· Brahms 1 -- last mov't chorale (letter C)

The Kenosha Symphony Orchestra holds auditions for its sublist in the fall of each year. Details for the sublist auditions will be posted on our website in early September.

We hold auditions for specific positions as needed.
